Hairless Hilltop Hunks

To the home of Beautiful Hairless Skinny Pigs & Baldwins

                            * The Hairless Pig Palace *

My cavy family has grown so fast since the March of 2009. This is when I received my first 5 Skinny Pigs. I have had regular guinea pigs for 10 years now but wanted to get into Skinny Pigs and Baldwins because of how unique they are. I always feel like I need more and more space every day. I started out with one large 5 x 2 cube cage but within a matter of a couple weeks I had to build another then another and so on. Now I have nine of these 5 x 2 cube cages. My caviary is currently located in the spare bedroom at my new house!

Their new room is kept around 75 degrees which is a perfect temperature for hairless guinea pigs. Each cage is cleaned every 3-4 days. I disinfect each igloo/ housing unit / water bottle spout and soak all food dishes in hot soapy water every couple cleanings. Just in one cleaning I use three large tub containers to dump the dirty litter into and a whole bag of fresh new large bag of pine shavings. After I get done I usually mop the floor so that it looks perfectly clean for about 5 minutes, haha. If you have any questions about anything else I do around my Caviary, just contact me and I will try my best to answer your questions.
